Amman, Jordan: Bank ABC in Jordan has reaffirmed its support for the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN) by contributing to the Climate Change Adaptation Programvme and funding the construction of a water desalination plant at the Shaumari Wildlife Reserve. This initiative aims to ensure the sustainable management of water resources.
This support reflects the bank’s commitment to addressing the challenges posed by climate change and preserving the ecological balance, particularly in wildlife reserves that protect endangered species. By providing the reserve with adequate water resources, especially during droughts or extreme weather conditions, the bank is helping to safeguard the environment and support biodiversity.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. George Farah Sofia, General Manager of Bank ABC in Jordan, expressed his satisfaction with the continued partnership, stating: “We are pleased to support the RSCN in its vital efforts to maintain ecological balance and mitigate the impacts of climate change.”
